Why Rite Coach

Every town in New Jersey has great private coaches. Former college players, high school
coaches, trainers who work evenings and weekends. Most of them have no website, no
reviews and no way to be found. Parents find them the old way: a name in a group chat, a
flyer at the field, a friend of a friend.

We were brought in to fix both sides at once. Give parents a clear, simple way to search and
compare. Give coaches a professional profile and real local visibility, without taking a cut of
their business.

Marketing and Brand
Strategy

We started with one question: who does this need to win first? The answer was coaches. A
marketplace with no coaches is an empty shelf. So the launch plan led with coach supply in
one state, before spending on parent demand.

The positioning came from the founders’ own story. Rite Coach was built by parents and
coaches, not a booking company. That gave us the core promise: “We connect, you control.”
No fees for parents, no commission for coaches, no middleman.

Brand Styleguide

The name carries a small wink. “Rite” sounds like “right,” and the whole brand is about the
right fit for each child. The identity is friendly and confident: a field green, clean type and
real photography of coaches with kids, never stock smiles.

The guide covers the logo, color, type, photo direction and voice. The voice rule is simple:
talk like a good coach. Clear, warm and honest, never pushy.

Social Media

Social for Rite Coach has two audiences, and each one gets its own content. For parents:
how to choose a coach, what to ask at a first session and how to support a young athlete.
For coaches: why a profile matters and how families search.

Posts run on a fixed weekly rhythm across Instagram and Facebook, using the same photo
style and green as the site.

RESULTS

Numbers

The first goal was coach sign-ups, so we built a launch campaign around it: every New
Jersey coach who created a free profile had a chance to win a Dick’s Sporting Goods gift
card. It gave coaches a simple reason to act now.

Analytics was set up before launch, not after. We track coach sign-ups, profile views, parent
searches and messages sent, so every next step is based on real data.

Platform

We designed and built the full product: the public site, parent and coach sign-up, coach
profiles, search by sport and location, and direct messaging. Every sport has its own New
Jersey page, so each one can rank on its own in local search.

We kept the product small on purpose. No payments, no scheduling, no complicated app.
Parents and coaches talk directly and agree on the rest themselves. Fewer features meant a
faster launch.

Coach Reach

We also ran direct outreach to coaches across New Jersey: clubs, high school programs,
gyms and training facilities. Each message was short, personal and focused on one thing: a
free profile that helps families find you.

This is the part most platforms skip. A marketplace is only as good as the people on it, so we
treated coach outreach as a core service, not an afterthought.
