Why Gentianë

Gentiana Nela spent decades in fashion and beauty, styling at New York Fashion Week and
running her own salons. Her bags carry something older: a beading craft passed from
grandmother to granddaughter, every piece made by hand.

The risk with handmade beaded bags is that they get seen as a holiday souvenir or a craft-
fair find, and priced that way. Our job was to position Gentianë where the work deserves to
be: collectible luxury.

Product Positioning

We positioned each bag as a piece to own, not a product to restock. Every design is named
after a place (Naples, SoHo, Positano, Tulum, La Jolla) so the collection reads like a
journey, and each piece has its own story.

Instead of a shopping cart, buyers get in touch. Limited quantities, one-of-one pieces,
custom orders and select boutique partners make every purchase a conversation, which
protects the price and the exclusivity.

Brand Identity

The name carries the founder: Gentianë, with the ë kept on purpose as a mark of heritage.
The identity is quiet and editorial: a refined wordmark, soft neutral tones and generous
white space that lets the beadwork do the talking.

The brand line sums it up: “Designed to be carried. Crafted to be kept.” The voice is warm,
personal and unhurried, like a designer showing you her work in person.

Photoshoot

Handmade detail is hard to photograph. Beads, crystals and pearls can look flat or cheap
under the wrong light. We art-directed a product shoot that shows texture up close, with
soft natural light and calm, warm backgrounds.

Every bag got its own clean product image for the collection, plus lifestyle scenes that place
it in the world it is named after (coastal, city and evening) so buyers can imagine it in
their own life.

RESULTS

The Launch

Gentianë launched with a full collection of 15 handcrafted bags, four of them one-of-one art
pieces. Each one has its own name, story and photography, presented like a gallery rather
than a catalog.

The site is built to start conversations, not just sales: inquiries for availability and pricing,
custom and made-to-order requests, and wholesale interest from boutiques.

Website

We set up the website in Webflow as an editorial showcase. A strong collection grid, an “Our
Story” section about the family tradition, a page about the designer, and an FAQ that
answers what luxury buyers ask: is it handmade, will it look like the photos, how do I care for
it.

One simple contact form handles every path (collectors, custom requests and private label
inquiries) so no lead gets lost and every reply feels personal.

What’s Next

Next comes reach: social content built from the photoshoot, outreach to select boutiques in
New York and Florida, and new pieces released in small drops to keep the collection rare.

The goal stays the same: make every Gentianë bag feel like what it is, a piece of family
heritage, made by hand, built to be kept.
