Why Elite Masonry

Elite Masonry & Renovation has 15+ years of real craftsmanship across North New Jersey:
driveways, patios, retaining walls, steps, outdoor kitchens and full home renovations. The
work was excellent. The problem was getting it in front of the right homeowners.

Masonry is a crowded market on Google. Big lead sites and franchise brands buy the top
spots, and many small contractors pay for clicks that never turn into jobs. Our job was to
make every ad dollar find a homeowner with a real project.

Google Ads Strategy

We built the account around high-value jobs, not cheap clicks. Separate campaigns for
driveways, patios, retaining walls, steps and outdoor living, each with its own keywords, ads
and landing page, and a tight North New Jersey service area.

Every week we cut searches with no buying intent (DIY, jobs, “cheap” and supply stores)
and moved budget to the services and towns that booked the most work. Calls and quote
forms are tracked as conversions, so the account learns from real leads only.

Website

We designed and built the website in Webflow, made to turn an ad click into a call. A clear
“Get a FREE Quote” on every screen, click-to-call phone number, a short form with a service
picker, and real project photos in place of stock images.

Each of the 25+ services has its own page, from driveway paving to kitchen remodeling,
so every ad lands on a page that matches exactly what the homeowner searched for. A
simple 4-step process and real reviews build trust before the first call.

Local SEO

Paid ads bring fast results; SEO builds the long-term base. We structured the site by service
and location, wrote each page around what homeowners actually search, and set up the
Google Business Profile with photos, services and reviews.

An FAQ about masonry and paving answers common questions on cost, timing and
materials, which helps Elite Masonry show up in Google and in AI answers without paying for
every click.

RESULTS

Numbers

From January to October 2026, Google Ads brought 2,030 clicks at an average of $6.39 per
click. About 8% of those clicks became a call or a quote request, 164 conversions in total,
at roughly $79 each.

Those 164 conversions turned into $1.2M in revenue from a $13K ad budget. For a
contractor, that is the number that matters: not clicks or impressions, but real jobs booked
from every dollar spent.

Why It Worked

Three things worked together. Ads matched to one service each. Landing pages that
matched the ad. And tracking that counted only real calls and quote requests, so budget
always moved to what booked jobs.

Low cost per click was never the goal. A $6.39 click is cheap when one in twelve turns into a
lead, and the average project is worth thousands. We judged the account by revenue, not by
traffic.

What’s Next

With the account profitable, the next step is to scale it with care: more budget in the busy
spring and summer season, new campaigns for higher-value renovation work, and more
towns where Elite Masonry already has strong reviews.

Alongside that, SEO keeps growing the free traffic, so each new job costs less over time.
The goal is a business that is not dependent on any one channel.
